About IVILENS Ltd
IVILENS is a Bulgarian-Italian company established in 1993, with administrative headquarters and factory for RX optical lenses in Plovdiv.
The main scope of our business activity is production of ophthalmic lenses (RX) and wholesale trade with a large assortment of optical products for optical shops among which a variety of stock lenses, prescription (RX) lenses, sun lenses, spectacle frames, sunglasses.
The company is an exclusive representative in Bulgarian optical market of authentic world-known eyewear brands (optical and sunglasses). In our warehouse and show rooms we offer a wide assortment of accessories for optical shops, tools and machines for optical shops and/ or eye doctors’ practices.
HERA Lens is the way we call our own line for ophthalmic lenses (RX and stock).
We can produce branded envelopes and marketing materials for independent optical stores or big optical chains by customer’s demand using their own envelope design.
As a bonus, we offer remote edging services for optical shops.
The products under our brand Hera Lens are also exported to Greece, Italy, Cyprus and North Macedonia.
OUR HISTORY
The beginning of our RX production (prescription lenses):
March 2001 – the only laboratory in Bulgaria was established for the production of all types of conventional and Free Form prescription lenses (RX orders).
2013 – Installation of our first modern Free Form line of machines for production of RX lenses
2019-2020 – We expanded our factory by adding two new ultra modern Free Form lines for production of prescription (RX) lenses
2023 – Our branch office & warehouse for wholesale trade with opthalmic lenses in Sofia was opened.
